Welcome to the Luncheon Club

Who we are

We are a lunch club for older people in the area around Hove, Portslade and Hangleton.

Managed by one worker and a host of volunteers and a management committee made up of a mixture of members and volunteers.

We use surplus food provided by the charity fareShare Brighton and Hove and have an after lunch programme that can be anything from music and singing to gardening to talks on hobbies. Above all we are a friendly and inclusive group.

Our lunch clubs run on Tuesdays and Thursday during term time.

Nothing - not a conversation, not a handshake or even a hug - establishes friendship so fiercely as eating together.
